How to Use DK817 Cleaner/Lubricant for Spray Foam Equipment

Why Use DK817 Cleaner/Lubricant?
DK817 Cleaner/Lubricant is specifically designed for spray foam rigs. It dissolves cured material, clears blockages, and coats internal parts to prevent wear. As a result, your system performs more reliably and lasts longer. With consistent use, you’ll minimize clogs, downtime, and costly repairs.

Safety First: Don’t Skip PPE
Before you begin, make sure you’re protected. Wear:

  • Chemical-resistant gloves
  • Safety goggles or a face shield
  • Long-sleeved clothing
  • A respirator in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas

Always review the SDS before using DK817 Cleaner/Lubricant. Taking the time to prepare keeps you and your equipment safe.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Power down the rig
Turn off your spray foam system. Then, release all fluid pressure and engage lockout/tagout if needed.

Step 2: Disconnect chemical feed lines
Detach both the A and B-side drum lines. This prevents new chemicals from entering during the flush.

Step 3: Connect DK817 Cleaner/Lubricant
Use your current suction hose or transfer pump to hook up DK817 Cleaner/Lubricant. No special tools are required.

Step 4: Flush the system
Power the machine back on. Run DK817 Cleaner/Lubricant through the fluid section and hoses. Let it circulate until the output looks clean and clear.

Step 5: Disconnect and shut down
When flushing is complete, shut off the machine and disconnect the DK817 line. Seal any open fluid ports.

Step 6: Resume work or store
You can now reconnect chemical drums to continue spraying. For storage, simply leave DK817 in the system to keep parts lubricated and clean.

Protect Your Equipment Long-Term
DK817 Cleaner/Lubricant works with most spray foam systems, including Graco and PMC. It reduces buildup, protects seals, and ensures your rig runs smoothly job after job.
