Spray Foam Systems

Overview

Spray Foam Systems, founded in 2007 by Russ Weaver, is a family-owned and operated business based in Greensboro, Georgia, that has established itself as a leader in the spray foam industry. Originally launched from Weaver’s garage, the company has since grown into a key spray foam rig manufacturer, supplying high- and low-pressure mobile spray foam rigs to contractors across the U.S. and beyond. These rigs are used across industries including spray polyurethane foam, polyurea, and geotechnical sectors. Spray Foam Systems provides a comprehensive range of tools, parts, and foam materials, delivering specialized solutions to contractors and businesses around the world.

Manufacturing and Training Campus

Spray Foam Systems operates a 70,000-square-foot manufacturing campus in Greensboro, GA, which includes a hands-on training facility built for real-world learning. This campus offers hands-on, interactive training programs designed to enhance participants’ practical knowledge and skills in the field. The training facility includes a classroom equipped for multimedia presentations and discussions, as well as a ventilated spray room with reusable wall cavities, allowing trainees to practice real-world applications safely. Additionally, a dedicated concrete pad is available for concrete lifting training, a growing focus area in the geotechnical foam industry.

Today, Spray Foam Systems proudly designs and builds equipment that’s trusted by professionals nationwide. Our ProPAK spray foam rigs reflect years of field-tested experience and are tailored to meet the unique needs of spray foam and polyurea professionals. We are also the original developers of the Nitrosys Plus® and Nitrosys HVLP low-pressure, high-volume dispensing systems engineered to deliver consistent spray quality with simplified operation and maintenance.

Nitrosys Plus technology has been the subject of multiple issued patents and independent testing, including white papers that support accelerated re-entry and re-occupancy times for HandiFoam® HVLP spray foam products. When applied using Nitrosys Plus equipment with 20 ACH (air changes per hour) ventilation, homeowners can re-enter after just 4 hours for medium-density closed cell (MD) foam, and after 2 hours for low-density open cell (LD) foam, according to testing documented in our white paper. This testing confirms Nitrosys as a leading system for high-performance, low-pressure spray foam applications with improved re-occupancy outcomes.

Spray Foam Systems has hosted specialized spray foam training programs such as polyurea training schools, providing contractors with detailed, hands-on instruction on materials and application techniques.
