Stoner E236 Urethane Mold Release – 12 oz Aerosol
Stoner E236 Urethane Mold Release is specially formulated as a release agent and anti-stick lubricant for molded urethanes and similar materials. It helps urethane parts release quickly and easily from mold surfaces while reducing defects caused by sticking.
E236 can provide multiple part releases per application and is suitable for numerous molding processes, including injection molding, compression molding, transfer molding, vacuum forming, pour casting, die casting, and extrusion molding. The colorless, non-staining formula contains no chlorinated solvents such as methylene chloride or 1,1,1-trichloroethane.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Stoner E236 used for?
E236 is used to prevent molded urethane parts and similar materials from sticking to mold surfaces.
Is E236 intended for spray-foam overspray protection?
No. E236 is primarily a mold-release agent for molded urethane parts. Stoner E238 is the product intended to protect equipment and surrounding surfaces from polyurethane spray-foam overspray.
Can one application release multiple parts?
Yes. Depending on the material, mold, and molding conditions, E236 may provide multiple part releases per application.
Will E236 stain the finished part?
Stoner describes E236 as colorless and non-staining when applied properly.
How much E236 should be applied?
Apply a thin mist from approximately 10 to 12 inches away. A light, uniform coating produces the best results.
