This low-cost ProPAK Bare Bones rig includes a Krendl 2800-G gas-powered blowing machine and GV240 vacuum in a 16′ trailer. Comes equipped with hoses, clamps, wireless remote, hose racks, and a full interior PAK for cellulose and fiber insulation jobs.

ProPAK Bare Bones Gas Powered Krendl Fiber & Cellulose Blowing Rig is a low-cost turnkey solution designed for insulation contractors who need portability, power, and performance for cellulose and fiber insulation applications. Built into a rugged 8.5′ x 16′ V-nose trailer (rated for 10,400 lb GVWR), this package combines the essentials with the trusted Krendl 2800-G and GV240 systems, all in a budget-friendly ProPAK Bare Bones configuration.

🛠Krendl 2800-G Package Includes:

  • #2800-G Krendl 18HP gas Cellulose and Fiber Blowing Gas Machine (40 cu. ft.)
  • #KIT-641-12-24K Wireless Remote Control
  • #H330 – Three 50′ 4″ x 50′ Blow Hoses
  • #381 – Two Steel Connectors (4″ x 5″)
  • #340 – Five Clamps for 4″ Hose
  • #ST329 – 44″ Wall Mounted Hose Rack (Holds 150′ of 4″ Hose)

The heart of this rig is the Krendl 2800‑G gas blowing machine, designed for serious cellulose‐and‐fiber applications. With a massive 40 cu. ft. hopper capacity, it can handle up to approximately 3,600 lb/hr of cellulose (with 150 ft of 4″ hose at 10 ft elevation) and about 2,100 lb/hr of fiberglass under the same conditions. It sits on a robust 18 hp Briggs & Stratton (or optional 20 hp Honda) gas engine, giving you the mobility and power needed for remote job sites.

Key features include the 16″ × 12″ airlock and a 4″ (10.2 cm) outlet suited for high‑volume hose setups. The positive‑displacement blower yields approximately 135 cfm at 6 psi — ideal for thick applications and long hose runs.

 Krendl GV240 Vacuum Package Includes:

  • #GV240 – 23HP Briggs & Stratton Gas-Powered Vacuum
  • #H600-A – 25′ x 6″ Hose
  • #371P-BLK – 6″ x 4″ Reducer Nozzle
  • #341 – Four Clamps for 6″ Hose

Supporting the blowing machine is the Krendl GV240 gas‐powered vacuum unit, built for heavy duty cleanup, recycling, and loose‐fill recovery. This unit weighs approximately 354‑370 lb and measures 44″ L × 39″ W × 38″ H. Driven by a 23 hp Briggs & Stratton (or equivalent Honda/Kohler) engine, it uses a 20″ steel fan with abrasion‑resistant steel blades to handle debris, nails, wood chunks and the rigors of job‑site use.

The GV240 is designed to “move all existing attic loose‐fill insulation, batt insulation and new insulation materials from the job site” and deliver them to a filter bag or dumpster — critical in cleanup and recycling workflows.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is spray foam insulation?

Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is a spray applied plastic that provides insulation while providing an air and moisture barrier for roofs, attics, crawlspaces, walls and basements. Spray Foam is a two-component foam that includes an “A” side of isocyanate and a “B” side of Resin and when combined creates a chemical reaction to make foam. After the chemicals are mixed by a trained professional, the foam is dispensed through professional equipment at high heat as a liquid and expands as it sprayed on to a substrate filling any cracks, gaps and voids. Spray Foam Insulation comes in the form of open and closed cell foams. Open cell foam is a light density half pound foam, that can expand up to 100 times when sprayed and has a sponge like texture. Most open cell foam applications are used in the interior of buildings and provide noise-reduction. Closed cell foam is a medium to high density 2 pound foam that is air and water impermeable. Closed cell foam is used for interior building applications, exterior building applications lifting and has a ridged like texture.

A power source (generator or shore power), a proportioner, a compressor, an air dryer, transfer pumps, a hose and guns. These are main components, but further customizations are available, and our sales representatives will help you find the best equipment for your spraying needs.

The warranty on a spray foam insulation rig varies by manufacture. The typical warranty is one year on all components.

The total average cost, including all necessary components is around $100k. Spray Foam Systems makes low-cost options like our cart setups or our mobile spray rigs that average between $50 – $80k.
