Chem-Trend FC-10008 is a specialized A-side purge and storage fluid engineered for spray foam and polyurea proportioning systems. It is designed to safely displace liquid isocyanate (ISO) from pumps, hoses, heaters, and manifolds without reacting with MDI, making it ideal for short- or mid-term equipment shutdowns and preventative maintenance.
Unlike aggressive flushing solvents, FC-10008 functions as a non-reactive protective fluid. Once circulated through the ISO side, it can be left in the system during storage to help prevent crystallization, moisture contamination, and internal component damage. This makes it an essential first step before deeper cleaning or when equipment will be idle.
FC-10008 is commonly used prior to running a high-performance cleaner such as SprayFoam Flush 4, or as a standalone solution when systems are being stored rather than fully stripped. It is compatible with professional spray foam rigs and is widely used by contractors, service technicians, and OEM service departments.
